An Educational Diagnostician works as part of a multi-disciplinary education team to evaluate, assess, and provide services to children who are struggling with learning difficulties.  

A Certified Teacher of Students with Visual Impairments (CTSVI) evaluates, assesses, and provides specialized instruction in the areas of Braille, low vision materials and tools, assistive technology devices, and training based on the unique needs of students with visual impairments.

A Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialist (COMS) assesses and instructs individuals with visual impairments or blindness to develop the knowledge and skills to enable independent travel at home, school, work, and in the community in familiar and unfamiliar environments with proficiency, safety, and confidence.

Our case management services help school systems and agencies remain compliant with federal, state, and local laws, policies, procedures, and timelines when providing for the needs and services of individuals with disabilities.

Professional Development & Training

SpEdTemps, LLC believes in empowering schools and agencies by providing current, research-based best practices training and resources in special education, education plan development, and compliance. 

SpEdTemps, LLC conducts meetings, workshops, training, and seminars for teachers and support staff. 

Most educators will go their whole career without experiencing the joys and challenges of having a student with a visual impairment but when it happens, we are here to help navigate the experience and empower the team (administrators, evaluators, teachers, and parents) to fulfill their roles with confidence.
